Funeral service for William Stanley “Moose” Sanford, 50, will be Friday, December 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Sanford Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Sanford died on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at his residence. He was born July 28, 1963, in Lawrence County to William Lee Sanford and Bonnie Cooper Sanford. He was a hard working man. He worked at Copeland Industies for 16 years. He loved his family and fought a courageous fight with cancer over the last four years until our Lord called him home. He was preceded by his father William Lee Sanford. Family wishes a Special Thanks to Dr. Sammy Becdach,MD, Miss Martha Holt, Mandi Hann, Michelle Bazzel, and all the nurse’s at the Clearview Cancer Center for their love and support. Also special thanks to the Nurses and staff at North Alabama Hospice.
