Graveside Service for William Sherman Smith, age 79, of Cullman, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Duck Creek Cemetery with Bro. David Chambers officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Cullman Regional. He was born March 26, 1942, in Holly Pond, Alabama, to Homer Troy and Edith Ressie Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wilford Smith; and sister, Jean Randolph.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Smith; sons, Terry (Donna) Smith, Stan (Lisa) Smith, Daniel (Katie) Smith, and Terry (Gloria) Yates; daughter, Sherry Bethune; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and brothers, Douglas (Sue) Smith and Robin Smith.
