William Scott Rappuhn

Age 57 of White House passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1964 in Nashville, TN to Gordon & Ann Nicollet Rappuhn. Coach Rappuhn was a 34 year veteran of education, teaching and coaching, with the past 28 years in Sumner County at White House and Beech High Schools. He was an English teacher, the head tennis coach for boys and girls teams, and served as the faculty advisor for The Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter of White House High School. He also served as a girls basketball assistant coach previously in his teaching career. He was a husband, father and community servant to White House and to everyone who knew him. He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Thea Rappuhn; son, Jaxon Rappuhn; daughter, Danielle Rappuhn, all of White House, TN; brothers, Ed (Terry) Rappuhn and Alex Rappuhn, both of Nashville, TN and Joe Lancaster, Hendersonville, TN. A memorial service is being planned and this obituary will be updated when those arrangements are finalized.
