Funeral services for Mr. William Sammy Scott age, 67, are scheduled for 2PM on Monday April 7, 2014 at Rock Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Lynn Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery. Mr. William passed away on Saturday April 5, 2014 at his home in Lexington. He was born November 2, 1946 in Henderson County, TN to the late Ray and Essie Mae Scott. He was a retired truck driver, a member of and deacon of Rock Hill Baptist Church. Mr. William was member of the Lexington Lions Club and served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife of 48 years Mrs. Jeanice Hensley Scott, two sons Michael (Kelley) Scott and Russ (Sandy) Scott, brother, Danny Scott, sister, Donna Essary (Johnny), and two grandchildren, Ashlynn and Wyatt Scott.
