Ryan passed away sept 22 at the age of 48 . He was the devoted husband of Maria Wilson Harbison who he shared his life and heart with.Ryan was a loving father to his 3 girls, Hailey(Taylor) Harbison, Emiley(Stephon) Edmonson, and Brittany(Brody) Johnson. He loved his girls more than anything. He adored all of his grandchildren – Mathyous, Nathaniel, Chansler, Jaylen, Harper, Alaya, Channing, Phoenix, Karysn, Peyton, Vivian, and Maci. Pawpaw was his favorite title.
He’s survived by his 2 most life possessions- his dogs- Bindi and Makin. His dad Charles(Connie) Harbison, Brother Ashley Harbison, sister Heather Vinson, his nieces Katlyn(Blake) Adaway, Callie Harbison, Hope Harbison, Carrie Price, and his life long friends Dale “ Big D” Grant and Tony Ford.
He’s proceeded in death by his mom Rhonda (Tim)Shirey. Ryan’s legacy will live on through his wife, children, grandchildren and the stories people share of him.
Ryan Harbison was a man who never met a stranger. He was selfless and would do anything for anyone, never blinking an eye or expecting anything in return. Ryan had an incredible work ethic, and it was something he took pride in. He loved cutting trees and being a trucker. He could cut a tree down with his eyes closed and whip an 18 wheeler better than anyone he came across, thanks to his years of experience. He was never the quietest in the room, and those who drew near would hear his boisterous voice and goofy laugh before ever entering the room he occupied. He loved his family and friends fiercely, and took any chance to show off his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. They were all his pride and joy, and he was eager to tell anyone who would listen about them. He always made sure to tell everyone he loved them, and his family and friends continue to feel his love even after his passing. Ryan considered everyone family, and we know his lifelong homies have many memories with him. As he would say, “Keep on trucking.”
