William Robert (Bobby) Carroll, 57, of Sheffield, died Saturday, June 8, 2013. His visitation will be Tuesday, June 11th from 6 pm until 9 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be Wednesday, June 12th at 2 pm at the First Baptist Church of Sheffield. He will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery.
Bobby lived most of his life in the Shoals area. He was a retired chemical plant operator with TVA. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sheffield. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Carroll.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 “glorious” years, Shari Carroll; mother, Dee Taylor (Roger); son, Clay Carroll; daughter, Lindsey Carroll; grandchild, Taylor Ann; brothers, Ricky Carroll (Vicki) and Ron Carroll (Gail); brother-in-law, Tommy Milstead (MaLea); nieces and nephews, Thomas Milstead, Anna Milstead, Josh Carroll, Ivy Carroll, Piper Lynn Fountain, Avery Carroll, and Will Carroll.

Pallbearers will be John Irons, J.C. Joiner, Renny Belue, Wayne Wallace, Horace Cleveland, Carl Sherrer, James Bedsole, and Matt Dixon.
