William “Richard” Haney, passed away peacefully at Hines VA Hospital in Hines, Illinois, January 29, 2019. He was 95 years old.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Mozelle (Cole) Haney. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gloria Hubbard. He has three surviving children, Hilton (Joyce) Haney, Rosalind Haney and Robin (Keith) Bush.
He is survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Richard was born in Rogersville, Alabama and moved to Buffalo, New York in 1941. He then moved to Chicago, Illinois in 2005. His parents, who have preceded him in death, were George and Mary Haney. He was the third youngest of 12 siblings, all which preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life will occur in Chicago, Illinois in the next few weeks.
