William Richard Ellett of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away Saturday morning, January 11th, 2025 at Southern Tennessee Regional Pulaski. He was born in Durham, North Carolina on August 20th, 1942 and was 82 years old.
He grew up and spent his childhood in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Michigan, and North Carolina. He Joined the Navy Reserves in 1960 and went into active duty in 1961 where he spent 22+ years in Navy. He married the love of his life on October 1, 1961 and was married for 63 years.
Visitation will be 11:00am until 12:00pm on Saturday, January 25th, 2025 at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The memorial service will follow at 12:00pm, Saturday, January 25th, 2025, in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial donations to be made to First United Methodist Church-Pulaski Youth and Children Ministry.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Aurthur Curtis and Marion Livingston Ellett, brother, Chris Ellett, and daughter, Barbara Ellett.
