Mr. William Paul Thompson, age 53 of Dutton, Alabama passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
Graveside service and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery with Bro. Grady Cornelison. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024 at Scottsboro Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Thompson; children, Sydney Baker (Josh Baker), Colter Thompson (Cheltsey Thompson), Madelyn Thompson (Andrew Beam), Case Thompson, Willa Grace Thompson, Brooke Bailey, Taylor Bailey (Landon Jenkins), Ella Manley, Ava Manley; grandkids, Sadie Thompson, Liam Baker, Oaklyn Beam; 3 sisters; several nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Cia Dempsey.
Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Ledwell; father, Edward Thompson; grandparents, Veda and William “Bill” Ledwell, Inez and Noah Thompson; uncle, Kenneth Ledwell and aunts and uncles.
