William “Pat” Halbrooks – Obituary

William “Pat” Halbrooks left this earth Dec. 25, 2015, at the age of 68. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at 1 p.m. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior at St. Luke United Methodist Church on Danville Rd. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Rev. Zeke Haselden and Bro. Joe David Bailey will be officiating with Randy Vest.
Pat was born on July 22, 1947, in Decatur to James and Gladys Halbrooks. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Martha Francis Seal and Mildred Ramos; brothers, Kenneth, Theo, and Don Stanley Halbrooks.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Janet Stevens Halbrooks; daughters, Mandi George (Jimmy), Nikki Echols (Steve), and Heather Narmore (Randy); son, Zach Halbrooks (Jessica); ten grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pat’s achievements in life were numerous, but he will be mostly remembered as a loving husband, father, grand-father, brother, and a great man of God. Pallbearers will be nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church.
