William Odell Morgan of Michie, TN was born March 26, 1929 in Michie, the son of the late Arthur Odell Morgan and Jewell Fowler Morgan.
Mr. Morgan was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ. He was a longtime farmer. He enjoyed sitting in the swing with his dog, being with his family and grandkids, and cutting wood, especially with his late son-in-law Willie. Mr. Morgan departed this life on November 14, 2018 in Savannah, TN at the age of 89 Years, 7 Months, 19 Days.
He is survived by his wife Verdie Jewell (Borden) Morgan of Michie, TN; three daughters, Lynn Austin of Shiloh, TN, Sharon Burks and husband Tony of Shiloh, Vickie Murphy and husband Steve of Adamsville, TN; five sons, Dewayne Morgan of Michie, Dudley Morgan and wife Carolyn of Michie, Dale Morgan of Shiloh, Dennis Morgan of Ramer, TN, and Danny Morgan of Michie; 22 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren; a sister, Jenny Martin and husband Lonnie of Shiloh; two brothers, Billy Joe Morgan of Shiloh and, Eugene Morgan of Corinth, MS; a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by a son, David Dwight Morgan; a grandchild, Matthew Morgan; a son-in-law, Willie Austin; three sisters, Reba Doris Morgan, Loraine Collier, Christine Thacker; two brothers, Wilburn Morgan and Wilford Morgan.
