William Norris Killen – Obituary

William Norris Killen, 76, of Killen, AL, passed away September 12, 2013 after an extended illness. Mr. Killen was a retired Materials Engineer for AL DOT and a member of the Mary’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene. He was also on the Richardson Chapel Cemetery Board and was a gospel singer with the “Gospel Three” Trio, and later “Logos”.

 

 

Survivors include:

 

Wife: Wanda Gail Smith Killen

 

Daughters: Beverly Killen McDow (Terry) and Susan Killen Lamar

 

Brother: Selton Killen (Jenny)

 

Grandchildren: Brittany Burns Nazario (Juan), Brandon McDow (Jessica), Lydia Burns Green (Adam), Ben McDow, and Will Lamar

 

Great-grandchildren: Austin, Nicholas, Sadie, and Ryker

 

 

Mr. Killen was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce Franklin and Maudie Lee Morrison Killen.

 

 

Visitation will be Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 4-6:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The Memorial service will follow at 6:00 P.M. with Bro. Randy French and Bro. Miles Stutts officiating.

 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to The Richardson Chapel Cemetery Fund.

 

 

We remember Paw Paw for church, gospel singing, “Roll Tide”, fishing, trips taken, going to meetings for DOT, and so much love!
