William Morgan Sparks, 80, of Florence, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013.
Visitation will be today 1-3 p.m. today at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Morgan was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Christ Chapel. He was an electrical engineer manager of Sverdrup’s Turbine Testing Section in Tullahoma, Tenn., for 34 years.
Survivors are his wife, Jean Sparks; seven children: Myra, Diane, Bill, Bob, Dixie, Jessica, and Josie; Four living stepchildren: Susan, Rob, Beth and Jeannie; siblings: Katherine, Virginia, Miriam, Harold and Betty Sue; 25 living grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
