William Maxwell “Mac” Smith, 61, died on September 12, 2018 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Mac was born on December 1, 1956 in Jackson, TN. He graduated from Jackson Central Merry High School in 1974. He became a Master Electrician and worked in the family business of Smith Electric Company.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Nell Smith. He is survived by one son, Brett Smith, his father William O. “Bill” Smith, Jr both of Jackson, TN and a sister Vickie Burgess of Germantown, TN.
SERVICES: Memorial services will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 3:30PM in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00PM until service time. Mac would want casual attire, blue jeans encouraged.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Mac.
