William Mack Frederick “Billy Mack” – Obituary

William Mack Frederick “Billy Mack,” 66, passed away at his home in Hoover, Alabama. Born to William Jackson and Kelly Jo Frederick, he graduated from Hackleburg High School in 1969. He graduated from Auburn University with a degree in building science in 1973. He enjoyed working with Bell South ending a 30-year career as project manager in the real estate group. He also served 15 years in the Naval Reserves retiring as chief petty officer. He was a long time member of Riverchase Baptist Church. Among his favorite memories was playing sports both freshman football at Auburn and four years of high school football and basketball. One of his best loved honors was induction to Marion County Sports Hall of Fame. He loved family, friends, and planning reunions. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, James Don Frederick. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jane Holland Frederick; sons, Rory (Heather) and Rhett Frederick; and daughter, Mary Malaet (Kevin) Richardson; and five grandchildren, Russell, Nathan and Ben Frederick and Evelyn and Amelia Richardson.

The memorial service is to be planned at a later date.
