William M. Jackson, 82, died Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 24, 1935 in Franklin County, AL and was a factory worker for thirty-seven years. He was a member of The Church of God, Belmont, MS.
Services will be Sunday, March 25, 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Pastor Lisa Pharr officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery, Red Bay, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years – Jetty Pearson Jackson, Red Bay, AL.; one daughter – Sheila Hall, Red Bay, AL; one foster son – David Nelson, Key West, FL; three grandchildren – Ryan Tyler (Amanda), Sherre’ Smith (John) and Shawna Tyler; six great-grandchildren – Hunter Tyler, Natalie Tyler, R.C. Smith, Rheanna Smith, Bella Smith and Ryker Smith; three brothers – Albert Jackson, Jr., Charles Jackson (Kathleen) and Grover Jackson (Linda); five sisters – Ruth Adkison (Jerry), Ivie Long, Martha Jackson, Eddie Jean Liebert and Peggy Bourgeois (George) and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 24, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
