William Leroy Sullivan, Jr., age 80, of Graysville, passed away January 28, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Leroy Sullivan, Sr. and Jewel Evelyn Sullivan; sister, LeRoyce Watkins (Larry); son-in-law, Jeffrey Morris and great-grandson, Braydon Morris. Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife of 62 years, Pat Sullivan; daughter, Rita Sullivan Morris; sister, Evelyn Phifer (Richard); grandchildren, Brandon Morris, Brenton Morris (Rachel), Brianna Morris; great-grandchildren, Alexsia Morris, Mila Morris, Autumn Morris and Damien Morris as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Mr. Sullivan loved to laugh. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed having fun. He worked as a Civil Engineer for the Alabama Dept. of Transportation for 30 years of service then went to work at Dunn Construction. Mr. Sullivan enjoyed traveling with his wife. They visited all of the lower 48 states together. He and Mrs. Sullivan attended Sayre Church of Christ. Mr. Sullivan took great pleasure working on his tractor in his hayfields. He also raised cattle at one time. He liked bluegrass music and enjoyed wood working in his spare time. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 2pm in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Bro. Clay Barnes will officiate.
