William Kelsey Weaver, 89, died Sept. 7, 2015. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, at 6 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Tuscumbia, Alabama on Highway 72.
Kelsey and his wife Marilyn, happily married for 58 years, raised five children, Tim, Todd, Mila, Lisa, and Amy. Their family grew to include two daughters-in-law, Nan and Kim, and three sons-in-law, Brad, Paul, and Philip. He enjoyed 13 grandchildren and two great-grands. While he dearly loved his family, his greatest love was for his God, Jehovah. Kelsey was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1939, and found great joy in helping others come to know the Creator and his promises for the the future. His kind and gentle way, along with his strong faith endeared him to the hearts of many.
Kelsey, along with his family, greatly appreciated the many prayers, love, and comfort from our wonderful spiritual family.
Many thanks to the entire North Alabama Hospice team for their loving support and guidance.
Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family. You may go online to sign the registry at colbertmemorial.com.
