William K. Lovelace Jr., age 76, of West Branch, passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at The Villa at West Branch.
William was born April 8, 1939, to William Sr. and Susie Lovelace in Florence, Alabama. He married Sherry Davenport on June 6, 1968, in Detroit, Michigan.
William had lived in the West Branch area since 2001, formerly of Taylor, Michigan. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and day rides with Sherry.
William is survived by his wife, Sherry Lovelace, of West Branch; son, James (Patricia) Lovelace, of Crossville, Tennessee; son-in-law, Jimmy Traylor, of Rogersville, Alabama; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by daughter, Deborah Traylor.
Visitation at the Steuernol and McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be on Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, from 4-8 p.m. On Tuesday, there will be a graveside service at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, Michigan, at 1 p.m., with Minister James Lovelace officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Seton Cancer Center.
