William “Judo” Munford Watkins Jr., age 82 of Florence, passed away on September 28, 2025. Visitation and services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Williams Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, with services starting at 1:00 pm in the chapel. Edwin Roach is officiating.
He is preceded in death by his wife Katrina Perkins. His parents, William M. Watkins Sr. and Johnnie Esther Jones Watkins.
Williiam is survived by his children: Anthony Abernathy (Marcia), Cardarell Watkins, Michael Shay and Cassandra Cooper. His brother Charles Watkins and his sister Nicole Summerhill. As well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
William attended the Abundant Life Baptist Church of Florence. He loved the word of our Lord and reading the bible. He was an Auburn fan. William was a smart and intelligent gentleman.
