Graveside service for William Jones, 78, of Decatur will be Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, at 2 p.m. with Denny Bowling officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Jasper.
Mr. Jones, who died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born July 28, 1937, to Grady Jones and Lorene Jones. He was a retired Pharmacist and operated Parkland Drugs in Jasper for 30 years, attended Tennessee Military Institute in high school and was a graduate of Sanford University with his Phamicist Degree. He attended County Line Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by, son, William Martin Jones Jr. and his parents.
Survivors include, wife Shirley Jones; daughter, Missy (Jerry) Cooper; grandchildren, Kyle Cooper and Cody Cooper.
