William Jackson "Jax" ReinhardtWilliam Jackson “Jax” Reinhardt, age 8, passed away on June 14, 2026. Born on May 4, 2018, Jax was the cherished son of John and Mercedes Reinhardt. With his vibrant red hair, unmistakable grin, and infectious energy, Jax brought immeasurable joy to everyone who knew him. He had a rare ability to light up any room, touching countless lives during his short but beautiful time on earth.

Jax was happiest whenever he was outside or on the move. He spent countless hours casting a line out on the water, patiently waiting for the next big catch, and brought that same pure excitement to the baseball field, where he loved playing the game and being part of a team. Above all, Jax loved the simple joys of being a kid—playing fiercely with his siblings, sharing quiet moments of kindness, and wrapping his family in a love that will stay with them forever.

He is survived by his loving parents, John and Mercedes Reinhardt; his sisters, Maelie Reinhardt, Macie Reinhardt, and Maggie Reinhardt; his grandparents, William Reinhardt, Laura Cain, and Susan and Jason Hursh; his great-grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel with Dan Anderson officiating.

Burial will be at Elk View Cemetery following the service. A wake will be held at Southern Charm after the graveside service from 4:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. for those who can attend.

Though his family grieves the loss of their precious boy, they find comfort in the deep love he shared and the vibrant memories that will forever remain in their hearts.
