Funeral for William J. Speegle, 72, of Town Creek will be Sunday, April 6, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Harold Hall and Carold Hall officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Speegle, who died Thursday, April 3, 2014, was born July 3, 1941, in Lawrence County to William E. Speegle and Gladys Speegle Borden. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sons, Wesley B. Speegle, Keith A. Speegle and William E. Speegle; one daughter, Vanessa Dawn Speegle; and three sisters, Betty Davis, Cathy Davis and Brenda Hitt.
Survivors include three sons, Torlon J. Speegle, Derek Speegle and Justin Speegle; two daughters, Tina L. Speegle Cosmah and Andrea J. Speegle; three brothers, Jimmy Speegle, Kenny Speegle and Ricky Speegle; one sister, Melinda Muston; 10 grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
