William Howard Newell, 47, Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, March 05, 2013 at his residence.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 07, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Bobby Stancil. Burial will be at Tharptown Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Cooper Newell; children, Ashley Newell, Brent Newell; step-children, Geoff Cooper, Shelly Cooper, Millie Cooper; very special child, Uriah Thompson; grandchildren, Katie Cooper, Jake Cooper, Kevontae Garrett, Keegan Cooper; father, Buford Newell; mother, Mary Black (husband, Phillip); siblings, Durant Newell, Kimberly Newell, Kristin Taylor; several nieces & nephews; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; sister, Donita Newell; and step-mother, Debbie Newell.
The pallbearers will be Wayne Tatum, Bobby “BJ” Frye, Trent Neeley, Tyler Neeley, Andrew Parker, Luke Mosteller, Buddy Baker, and Eric Baker.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Transcare Ambulance Service, Franklin County Investigators, Franklin County Sherriff’s office, and to Coroner, Elsie Malone.
