William Haynes Fortenberry, 87, of Huntsville passed away at UAB Hospital in Birmingham on Tuesday. William retired from NASA- MSFC and then worked as an independent consultant. He served in the United States Army during World War II and later received his BS Degree from Indiana University. He held double Masters Degrees in Political Science from University of Alabama and University of New Mexico. As per his request no local services will be held and a private interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixon, Kentucky. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family locally.
