William H. “Billy” Williams, III, known by everyone as Billy, passed away April 27, 2026. He was preceded in death by his son William Howard Williams, IV, and his parents Gail Williams and Bill “Sneak” Williams, Jr.
Billy is survived by his wife Tammie Williams, children Scotty (Cynthia) Thomas, Roy Colton (Hailey) Williams, Hannah Williams, and Christa (Matt) Waddle, grandchildren Christopher Baltes, Anthony Thomas, Rixen Williams, Greyson Williams and Amelia Williams. siblings Allen (Connie) Williams, Kathy (Dewayne) Thorpe, Kimberly (Will) Nash, J.T. Williams, a host of nieces and nephews and his truck dog Gus.
Billy was a U.S. Navy Veteran, having served with the Navy Medical Corp. He was employed with the City of Sumiton. He loved going to storage auctions, yard sales and flea markets. Billy also helped raise his sister and brothers and would give $2 bills to all the children.
