William Franklin “Bill” Ferguson – Obituary

William Franklin “Bill” Ferguson, 80, of Huntsville passed away Monday at his residence. Bill was a native of Telephone, TX and a resident of Madison County since 1976. He was a member of the Helion Masonic Lodge #1 and was a member of Cahaba Shrine Temple. He was preceded in death by one son: Michael Gary Ferguson and one daughter: Tresa Gail Ferguson. Survivors include his wife of 38 years: Ruth S. Ferguson; two sons: William (June Peterson)Larry Ferguson and Kerry Glen Ferguson; two daughters: Alicia (Joshua) Ferguson Landman and Andrea (Vinai) Ferguson Vongsubun; six grandchildren: Laura Ferguson, Jayden Ferguson, Ella Vongsubun, Houston Vongsubun, Jaiden Landman and Blake Landman and two great-grandchildren: Carson Montgomery and Alexis Kelly. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel memorial service at 6:00 p.m. with the Hon. Bud Watson, George Boyd and C. Wayne Morris officiating. A private burial service will be at a later date in Huntsville Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bill’s honor should be made to The American Cancer Society or to Heartlite Hospice Care.
