William Floyd Amos

William Floyd Amos, age 92, died on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at his home in Pulaski. He was born in Elora, TN on January 3, 1928, a member of First Baptist Church, and a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Lela Garrett Amos and brother, L.G. Amos. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 9, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow with Military Honors in Giles Memory Gardens. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Helen Amos of Pulaski, TN, his son, Gary Amos of Pulaski, TN, his daughter, Karan Amos of Pulaski, TN, his brothers, Glenn Amos of Winchester, TN and Kenneth Amos of Dickson, TN, and his sister, Wilma Southerland of Sterling, VA.
