William Ezell Glass of Leoma, Tennessee, age 95, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at NHC Scott, surrounded by his loving family, just eleven days before his 96th birthday.
A native of Lawrence County, Mr. Glass honorably served his country during the Korean War. He was the recipient of numerous military honors, including three Bronze Stars, in recognition of his dedicated service.
Following his military service, he returned home to Lawrence County, where he worked for many years before retiring from Ezell’s Body Shop. He was also a member of St. Joe Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Loretto Memorial Chapel. Burial to follow in the Leoma Cemetery, with Military Honors at graveside.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
