William Eugene Ruby, age 65, of Beaverton, AL, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at DCH Noland Hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 7:00pm from Otts Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Gerald Gann to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening prior to the funeral service from 5:30pm until 7:00pm.
William was born August 24, 1952 in Geneseo, IL to the late Fred Ruby and the late Bonnie Threlkeld. William served in the U.S. Army. He previously worked for the railroad. Some of William’s greatest enjoyments were doing yardwork, playing his guitar and singing. He attended Lost John Church.
