Funeral service for William Eual Lamon, age 86, of Trinity, will be 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Greg Burnett officiating. Mr. Lamon, who died Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Athens-Limestone Hospital, was born October 10, 1940, in Alabama to William Maurice Lamon and Effie Lucille Whitlow Lamon. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Beth Ross; and parents. Mr. Lamon was a dedicated employee for many years at 3M. He had a love for traveling, gardening, and spending time with his family. He was very active in his church and served in Emmaus and Kairos Prison Ministry. Eual was a very outgoing “people person” who had a host of friends and always brought a smile.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Harrison Lamon; two sons, Jack Lamon (Lisa) and Tolly Lamon (Abby); son-in-law, Bryan Ross; brother, Dwight Lamon (Susan); three grandchildren, Betsy Jackson (Sam), Will Lamon, and Dakota Lamon (Macie); and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tim Lamon, David Lamon, Gordon Burden, Earl Leonard, Carlos Alberti, and Mason Lamon.
