William Edward Pylant of Pulaski passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at NHC Healthcare in Pulaski. He was born in Athens, Alabama on May 8, 1926 and was 90 years old.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. William was a member of First Baptist Church, worked for several years at Maremont Gabriel, loved hunting, fishing and sitting in his recliner and watching the humming birds.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 9th from 5:00 until 8:00 at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will take place on Friday, June 10th at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Tony Gomillion officiating.
Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery
Memorial Donations are suggested to American Cancer Association, % Bank of Frankewing, DeDe McAfee, P O Box 1, Frankewing, Tn. 38459
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Maude McNeese Pylant.
He is survived by his,
Wife of 65 years, Robbie Owena Barnett Pylant of Pulaski
Son, Ricky (Nancy) Pylant of Pulaski
Daughter, Kathy Pylant of Pulaski
Grandchildren, Chad Pylant and Brynn (John) Wade
2 great-grandchildren
Brother, Wendell Pylant of Pulaski
Sister, Mary (Jim) Michaels of Alabama
Sister, Betty (James Allen) Steele of Alabama
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
