William Edward “Billy” Mills, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the age of 60. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Billy was a graduate of Deshler High School and attended UNA. He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved fishing, coaching little league baseball, and Alabama football. He also loved his dog, Miley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Sue Mills; special uncle and aunt, Nubbin and Bunna Cobb; and nephew, David Klinghard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Carolyn Mills; son, Jacob Mills and wife, Makenzie; sister, Lynn Klinghard (Martin); nephew, Daniel Klinghard (Cheri); niece, Mary Elizabeth Klinghard; great-nephew, Amsden; and great-nieces Jocelyn and Amelia Klinghard.
Pallbearers will be Dolphus King, Jack Foster, Tim Beard, Gary Mifflin, Dennis Stout and Larry Willis.
