He was united in marriage to Loretta Lawson Horner on June 10, 1995. He was a member of Curtis Hill Church of God of Prophecy. Mr. Mansfield served our country honourably during the Korean Conflict and also served in Italy as a tank driver. He was a retired truck driver and a licensed pilot in the Civil Air Patrol. Mr. Mansfield departed this life on June 3, 2018 in his home at the age of 87 Years, 4 Months, 11 Days.
He is survived by his wife Loretta Lawson Horner Mansfield; stepchildren: Mark Horner, Richie Horner, Kevin Horner, Clark Horner, Cindy Weeks, Ronnie Horner, Gary Horner; four sisters: Sandra Clement, Marlene McBride, Joyce Barber, Ramona Burroughs; a brother, Don Mansfield; 18 Grandchildren; 25 Great Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Mansfield was preceded in death by four brothers: Melvin Lee Mansfield, Everett Mansfield, Eugene Mansfield, Talmadge Boswell.
