Funeral service for William E. “Billy” Hancock, 82, will be Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stanley Owensby officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Bethlehem Methodist Cemetery in Dodge City, Alabama . Visitation will be Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Hancock died on Monday, June 3, 2019 at his residence. He was born November 12, 1936, in Cullman County to Odis Marvin Hancock and Lessie Lou Burrow Hancock. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving for 3 years and 10 months. He also was employed with Cerro Wire as a Maintenance Supervisor prior to his retirement. Preceding him in death were his wife: Janice G. Hancock, his parents, a brother: Bobby Hancock, and a sister and brother-in-law: Hazel and Spencer Edmondson.

Pallbearers will be Randal G. Hancock, Brian K. Hancock, Jarrid Hancock, Tyler Hancock, Dalton Woodard and Joshua Smith.
