William E. (Bill) Smith, 82, of Guin, AL passed away Friday, March 8, 2024 at his residence. Bill was born March 2, 1942 in Fayette, AL to Jesse Lee Smith and Mary Maurine Edwards Smith.
Bill was a member of the Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church and had retired from the United Parcel Service.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jesse Lee Smith and Mary Maurine Edwards Smith, a brother Bob Smith, and two sisters Larue Batagillia and Mary Collins.
He is survived by his Wife, Dorothy G. Smith, a Daughter, Melinda (Jonathon) May, Sons, William E. (Kathy W.) Smith Jr., Joel (Doretta) Smith, Sisters Patricia Wakefield and Kathy Smith, and 20 Grandchildren.
Funeral Services held Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 3:00 from the Guin First Baptist Church with Bro. John Hambright and Bro. David Crowe officiating with burial in the Guin City Cemetery.
