William David Roberts, 61, died Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Baptist Hospital, Booneville, MS. He was born in Red Bay, AL to Jesse Eugene Roberts and Lou Verde Hendrix Roberts.
Services will be Thursday, June 20, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Robert Wood officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Roberts; two daughters, Christy Pounders and Krystal Franklin; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Unice Fair and Ponda Rosa Brown; one brother, Tim Roberts and a half-sister, Jettie Marie Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Travis Owens, James Owens, Jerry Owens, Rocky Roberts and Frankie Roberts and one sister, Kathy Owens.
Pallbearers will be Corey Pardue, Bradon Willock, Nick Warren, T.J. Franklin, Dallas Burks, Heath Burks, Ryan Burks and Clayton McAnally.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 19, 6-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
