A Funeral Service for William David Miles, age 64, will be Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Rev. David Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Auslins Chapel Cemetery near Wedowee.
Mr. Miles passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021, at Clay County Hospital. He was born in Randolph County, AL and spent most of his life in or near Clay County. He attended Dingler’s Chapel Church. He owned and operated Hard Times Logging for a number of years and always worked outside. He loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with and talking to friends and family.
He is survived by his wife Veronica; children, Kelly Miles(Billy Kilgore) and David Miles(Rena); grandchildren, Cheyanne, Dameon, Richard, Katelynn, Jesse, Harley, Noah and Zoie; siblings, James Miles(Thelma) and Jackie Davis(James); niece, Christy Holcombe(Johnny); nephews, Steven Miles(Melissa), Tony Miles(Jennifer) and Jimmy Miles(Pam), a host of friends, and other extended family.
Preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Betty Miles; siblings, Troy Miles, Jerry Miles, Linda Smith and Rosie Miles.
Pallbearers will be James Miles, Steven Miles, Tony Miles, Luke Miles, David Miles, Joe Mullally and Dewayne Lambert.
Visitation will be Monday, June 21, 2021 from 5:30-8:00 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville.
