William Dante “Dan” Fields, Sr., age 72 of Cordova, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at his residence.
Dan, beloved father, husband and poppa, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife of 55 years, daughters, sons, grandchildren and nephew. Dan was a strong, proud man. He suffered from cancer in his last moments but never let his pain show, living his last moments experiencing life to the fullest. His biggest joys in life were spending time with his very large family and the Crimson Tide. Words can’t express how badly he will be missed, but all that matters now is that his pain and suffering are over and that his soul is now at peace with his Lord in Heaven.
