William Craven Hershberger, age 83, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022. William was born December 4, 1938 in Tacoma Park, Maryland to Roland Lynwood and Elizabeth Anne Craven Hershberger. He is a veteran of The United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Wilda Hershberger, Claire Hershberger Rogers, Avaline Hinkle Gregory, Flora Hinkle, Betty Jean Sott Hinkle, Ann Hinkle Lovett, brothers: Ozell Hinkle, Hollis Gregory, Franklin Hinkle, Alvin Hinkle, Joel Hinkle, Bob DePlachett, Maurice Hinkle and Gary Hutchison. A visitation for William will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Good Hope Baptist Church, 90 Good Hope School Road, Cullman, AL 35057. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 90 Good Hope School Road, Cullman, AL 35057 with Dr. Ralph Andrews officiating. An interment will occur Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Good Hope Cemetery, 90 Good Hope School Road, Cullman, AL 35057. Survivors are: wife of 61 years: Kathleen Hinkle Hershberger, children: William C. Hershberger, Jr. (Shari Fox), Cynthia R. Gill (Andy), grandchildren: Amberlee Hart, W. Bradley Hershberger, Kaitlyn M. Gill, Annie V.
