William Colby Franks, 31, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 9, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Seth Hood officiating.
Colby was a native of Colbert County and a member of Isbell Chapel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bradley Scott Franks; grandparents, JW and Ann Franks and Clarance “Sonny” Jefferies; uncles, Timothy James Franks and Dwight Jefferies; and aunt, Shirley Hunt.
Colby is survived by his parents, Scott and Karan Franks; brother, Kyle Scott Franks; sister, Tasha Jefferies; nieces, Kaylea Quillen, Karley Quillen, Kylie Franks, and Paige Franks; grandma, Ledia Ray Jefferies; and cousins, family and friends.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
