Funeral services for William Claude Calvery, 87 of Florence, AL are set for Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home – East with interment in Rowland Mills Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 10am -11am at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Bro. Frankie Smith will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be John Calvery, Todd Sitorius, Matt Sitorius, Avery Borden, Draken Borden and Jesse Williamson. Born August 21, 1937 in Corinth, MS., Mr. Calvery passed from this life on April 28, 2026 at his home in Florence, AL. He was the retired owner of Dixie Heat Treating and a member of Woodmont Baptist Church in Florence. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. W. C. adored his wife, Bonnie and cherished her deeply. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, reading his bible, going to church and outdoor activities. W. C. is survived by his daughter, Debra Sitorius (Todd); son, John William Calvery; 5 grandchildren, Ryan Sitorius (Pam), Matthew Sitorius, Sarah Borden (Avery), Lorena Hall and Gabby Calvery; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 73 years, Bonnie Calvery; father, Earl Calvery; mother, Mavis Calvery; brothers, John William Calvery and James Lee Calvery and his sister, Louise Virginia Calvery.
