William Charles Duncan – Obituary

William Charles Duncan, age 76 of Leighton, died Thursday, January 31, 2013. His graveside service will be Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 1 p.m. in Hatton Baptist Cemetery with Charlie James, Ted Vafeas, and Chad Holder officiating.

Mr. Duncan was a member of Hatton Baptist Church and a retired Deputy Sheriff with Colbert County. Charles loved his family, fishing, and Alabama Football. He was preceded in death by parents, Otis and Eva Duncan; brothers, Jimmy and Billy Ray Duncan; son Randy Duncan; and granddaughter, Magan Wisdom.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years, Frances Duncan; son, Ronnie Duncan (Pam); daughter, Lisa Patterson (Farrell); grandchildren, Hollie Liverett (Jamie), Adam Duncan, Andy Wisdom (Kim), Russell Duncan (Ashton), Will Duncan, and Aaron Duncan; great grandchildren, Karlie, Kaleb, Megan, McKinley, and Bella; sister Mary Duncan Rutledge.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons and John Wayne Thompson and Ronnie May.
