Funeral service for William C. “Buddy” Maze, 79, will be Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Blackman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Maze died on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born June 13, 1934, in Morgan County to William Joseph Maze and Mamie Lois (Reeves) Maze. Mr. Maze was a member of East Highland Baptist Church. He was formerly employed by Nashville Express Company in Birmingham as a Truck Driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters: Learlene Southern, Evelyn Blankenship and Wilma Cheatham.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial donations be made to Alacare Hospice or to Gideon Bible.

Two Brothers: Leo Maze (Yvonne), Somerville, AL Jimmy Maze (Barbara), Somerville, AL
Two Sisters: Betty McCarter, Somerville, AL and Bobbie Stinson (Jimmy), Somerville, AL
Four Grandchildren: Wesley Grove, Nathan Grove, Hayden Grove Furmanek, and Haley Grove
Pallbearers will be David Grove, Wesley Grove, Nathan Grove, Danny Melson, Bill Southern and Mike Watson.
