William “Butch” Dwight Kimbrell – Obituary

Funeral for William “Butch” Dwight Kimbrell, 69, of Trinity will be Monday, September 29, 2014, at noon at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Dallas Culver officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Kimbrell died September 25, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born February 20, 1945, to Clay and Margaret Kimbrell of Trinity. He graduated in 1964 from Decatur High School and began working in construction and ended his career as a farmer. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, playing poker, and loved his dogs, “Yo Yo” and “Co Co” and Alabama football. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife Linda Glasco Kimbrell; a brother, Earnest “Snookie” Kimbrell.

He is survived by two sons, William Lee Kimbrell and Brandon Dwight Kimbrell; a granddaughter, DeAnda Lee Kimbrell, all of Trinity.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Poole, Johnny “Rock” Compton, Johnny Stevenson, Jimmy Rombokas, Bruce Kimbrell and Phillip Watson.

Honorary pallbearers are Jerald Poole, Jonathan Poole, Jeremy Lancaster, Chris Thomas, Tony Crow, Gerald Gay and Bobby Young.
