William “Bubba” Alan Stewart, Jr., age 34, a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 6PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 4-6PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on May 5, 1984 in Maury County, Bubba was the son of Teresa McGee Stewart (Terry) Pride and the late William Alan “Al” Stewart, Sr. He was an excellent heavy equipment operator and skilled mechanic, both of which he took after his father. He loved wheeling and dealing and working on old Chevy trucks. Bubba loved his dog, Duke. He was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his mother and step father, he is survived by his fiancé and love of his life: Danielle Dyer of Columbia; children: Kam Stewart of Columbia, Krew Stewart of Columbia, Kora Sue Stewart of Columbia, Kayleigh Goats of Columbia, Karma Stewart of Santa Fe; brother: Zack (Lexis) Stewart of Columbia; sister: LeiLani (Michael) Shouse of Columbia; niece: Katlyn Fox; nephews: Trenton, Oakley, Hunter, and Zaden Stewart, Daniel Fox; several cousins; and many friends, too many to count.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: William Tommy McGee, Nellie Sue McGee, James Forrest Stewart, Sr., Betty Ann Stewart; uncle: Jimmy Stewart; and aunt: Diane Stewart.

Honorary pallbearers will include his special friends at Humerick Construction of College Grove, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
