Services will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Junior Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in Butler Grove Cemetery , Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangments.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 27,, 6:00-9:00 pm and on Sunday, October 28, 11:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, TN
Mr. William ( Billy ) Jackson departed this life on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at his residence in Iron City, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 24 Days. He was born October 1, 1941 in Wayne County, TN the son of the late Walter Leo and Lizzy Jane Thompson Jackson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by a son, Jr. Jackson; grandchild, Bronica Jackson; brothers, Charles Jackson, Bobby Jackson, Jerry Jackson; sister, Wilma Daniel.
He was united in marriage to Mary M. (Pat) Thompson on April 8, 1974.
Mr. Jackson was retired from Hon Company and a member of the Butler Grove Freewill Baptist Church .
He is survived by his wife Mary M (Pat) Jackson ; son, Chris Jackson and wife Sybrina ; daughters, Linda Rushing and husband Mike and Kim Littrell all of Iron City, TN, Donna Blalock and husband Kevin of Cypress Inn, TN; grandchildren; Allison Wilson; Tiffany Scogin; Erin Caperton; Tina Daniel; Sherrie Blalock; Andy Blalock; C.J. Jackson; Sarah Littrell; Lucas Littrell; Dalton Littrell and Brandie Dicus; great grandchildren; Taylor & Katelyn Daniel; Brylee & Aly Wilson; Kaylee Hunt; Addilynn Caperton ; Jessie Scogin; Lane Blalock; Kambria Daubenspeck and Brennan Dicus; sisters, Dorothy Herston of Moblie, AL, Bessie Barkley of Florence, Al.
