William “Bill’ R. Pate, 68, of Crawfordville, Fla., died Sunday, November 3, 2013. Bill was born May 26, 1945, in Decatur to William and Eunice Garrett Pate. A 1963 graduate of Decatur High School, Bill moved to Tallahassee, Fla., in 1974 and retired from the State of Florida in 2009. Bill is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his sons, Lance (Jill) Pate of Trussville and Adam (Emily) Pate of Tallahassee; his sisters, Linda Moore of Hanceville and June Pate of Logan; his seven grandchildren, Max, Jack, Lucy, Olivia, Morgan, Luke and Will. Friends will be received today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Culley’s Meadowwood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel.
