William (Bill) Mains, age 58 of Millington, Tennessee . Mr. Mains passed away Friday evening, November 30, 2012 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.
A native of Patuxent River, Maryland, he worked as a warehouse manager for Vital Records Control in Memphis. He was born November 24, 1954 to Ethel Irene Hurst Mains of Millington, and the late Kenneth Carl Mains, lived in Hickory Valley for a time and had lived in Millington since 1996. He loved to golf and loved sports, and was a huge UT Vols fan. He especially loved his family, friends and travelling. Mr. Mains was a member of Middleburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Michelle and Mark Gooch of Bolivar; a granddaughter, Brianna Gooch of Bolivar; his mother, Ethel Mains of Millington; a sister and her husband, Carol and David Hall of Bartlett; his fiance, Karen Simmerman of Munford; a niece and her husband, Lindsey and Chris Wallace, and a nephew, Shannon Jackson. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Leslie Mains.
