Mr. passed away Saturday evening at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
Mr. Linville was born in Carlisle Kentucky son of the late Ernest C. and Nancy Price Linville, He attended school in Nicholas County Kentucky and worked for Johnson Controls in Georgetown Kentucky and also farmed. He was married to Shirley Johnson Hopper in 1995. Mrs. Linville preceded him in death in 2009.He was a member of the Stoney Creek Christian Church in Carlisle Kentucky.
He is survived by two daughters,Janet Allison of Carlisle KY, and Christy Porter of Flemington Ky; three sons Steve Linville of Carlisle KY, Aaron Linville of Orlando Florida, and Jason Linville of Henderson Tennessee; a brother Jerry Linville of Carlisle Kentucky, and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
